So I am starting to look at the Rolex Bubblebacks. There are so many models and what not I need help can you guys suggest any vintage bubblebacks that would. "Bubbleback" refers to the round, domed caseback of these early automatic Rolex watches. Rolex introduced its first automatic "perpetual" movement in 1931. Bubblebacks were the most vintage-y and desirable collectible Rolex at that time, and the size was not an issue in Asia. I watched the bubblebacks go way up in price, and then tumble as demand evaporated.
